Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Palmer Health & Life ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website. Palmer Health & Life is an independent insurance brokerage operated by Darren Palmer.

We collect only the information we need in order to contact you and prepare a quote or consultation. We do not sell your information.

Information We Collect

When you request a quote, we collect the information you choose to provide:

• Your name, phone number, email address, state, and ZIP code (required so we can contact you)
• The type of coverage you are interested in (health, life, small business, or self-employed) and your current coverage, if you tell us
• Whether you use tobacco, if you answer. Insurers price health and life coverage differently for tobacco users, so this helps us prepare accurate quotes
• Why you are looking for coverage (for example, open enrollment or a new job), if you choose one of the listed reasons
• Any notes you choose to add. Please do not include medical details, Social Security numbers, or account numbers in your notes

We also collect limited technical information automatically: your IP address (stored only as a scrambled, one-way code, used for security, spam prevention, and to record your consent), your browser type, the page you submitted from, and any advertising campaign tags in the web address you arrived on (such as utm_source or utm_campaign), which tell us which ad or link brought you to the site.

Tobacco Status and Notes

We treat your tobacco status and any notes you write as sensitive. They are stored in an access-controlled database that only logged-in members of our team can see. They are never included in email notifications, and they are never sent to advertising or analytics companies, including Meta.

Both are optional. You can leave them blank and discuss your situation by phone instead.

Information We Do Not Collect Through This Website

We do not request or accept the following through this public website:

• Social Security numbers
• Banking or payment card information
• Driver's license numbers or government identification
• Detailed medical records or detailed medical history
• Account passwords

If any of this information is ever needed as part of a formal insurance application, it will be collected through the applicable insurance carrier's secure application process — not through this website.

How We Use Your Information

• To contact you about your inquiry by phone, email, or text
• To prepare quotes and discuss coverage options with you
• To respond to questions and schedule consultations
• To submit information to insurance carriers when you ask us to, and only with your direction
• To meet recordkeeping and other legal or regulatory obligations

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Insurance carriers and their underwriting partners, when you ask us to obtain a quote or submit an application
• Service providers that help us operate the business, such as website hosting (Vercel), secure database hosting (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), and customer relationship management providers, under confidentiality obligations
• Meta (Facebook), for advertising measurement only, as described below
• Regulators, or others, where required by law

Advertising measurement: when you submit a quote request, we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, phone number, name, and ZIP code, along with your IP address and browser information, so Meta can tell us whether our ads led to a request. We do not send Meta your coverage type, current coverage, tobacco status, reasons, or notes.

Consent to Be Contacted

By submitting a form, you consent to be contacted by Palmer Health & Life by phone, email, or text regarding your insurance inquiry. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us using the information below, by replying STOP to a text message, or by using the unsubscribe link in an email.

How We Protect Your Information

• This website is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit
• Form submissions are transmitted by secure server-side processing and are never placed in a web address (URL)
• Submitted information is stored in a database that enforces access rules on every request, so only authenticated members of our team can see it
• Email alerts to our team say only that a request arrived; they do not contain your details
• Contact details shared with Meta for ad measurement are hashed before they leave our systems. Nothing else you enter is sent to advertising or analytics tools
• Access to submitted information is limited to those who need it to serve you, and changes are recorded in an activity log

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet applicable insurance recordkeeping requirements.

Your Choices: Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may request that we correct information you have submitted, or that we delete it, at any time. To make a request, contact us at Dpalmer@chcagents.com or (314) 455-7919. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you and the right to opt out of certain uses. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and Analytics

Our Facebook ad page (the page our Facebook ads link to) uses the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies so Meta can measure our ads. It records that the page was viewed and, if you submit a request, that a request was made. Other pages on this site do not load the Meta Pixel.

When you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we keep the campaign tags from the web address in your browser's session storage for the rest of your visit, so your request is credited to the right ad. This is cleared when you close the tab.

You can limit ad measurement through your Facebook ad preferences and your browser's cookie settings. The back office used by our team also uses cookies to keep team members signed in.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version.
